A fun introduction - not practical for application
Published by bernie4444 , 8 months ago
I knew that I had found my home when I started reading the introduction. They talked about watching the first black and white sets with Uncle Miltie, Rod Sterling, and Playhouse 90. I still remember watching “It Came from Outer Space.”
This book is great for helping you with the terminology, also separating different devices such as phones, readers, and tablets. There are plenty of useful black-and-white pictures on what seems to be cheap paper; it even smells cheap like newsprint. There are well-defined chapters and a good index.
This is a very useful book if you want to know what tablets are and how they can be used in many ways that you never thought of. However, it may be a little difficult to apply these concepts to your reality as the author moves back and forth between the Apple iPad, the BlackBerry PlayBook, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Task 7: Going to flight mode reminds us not to play Words with Friends on the runway.
