AAC and Me
AAC, AAC, AAC and me...
AAC helps me ask questions, tell jokes, and connect with the people around me.
AAC and Me follows Bob through his day - with friends, at school, and at home - showing how AAC supports communication in many different moments and for many different purposes.
Written to support understanding, inclusion, and acceptance, AAC and Me helps children, families, and educators see AAC as a powerful, everyday way to communicate - full of personality, meaning, and joy.
AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. It sounds complicated but it's not. Some people cannot always speak, so they use AAC. AAC can be communicating with pictures or gestures or typing. People who use AAC may communicate differently but they have stories and ideas to share with the world.
