A Young Ogre's Song-filled Adventure

The young and not very responsible Ogre named Oxford wanders into Human Land and must be rescued by his parents when his monstrous nature is finally recognized. Initial suspicions about his strange appearance are ignored since he is hailed as a great talent (and source of wealth for those who exhibit him) for singing multipart harmony with himself. For a while he has no desire to leave the attention and applause he receives so he cooperates and is treated as an artist, not a danger or a monster.His parents come in disguise looking for him, risking a fight if recognized as Ogres while they locate their son.Prodded by an official who suspects Oxford is not truly human, things begin to unravel fast while those who want to keep him to exhibit (even if that means in a cage) work at odds with his parents - but all of them trying to protect him from the angry mob that forms when word he is an Ogre gets out.His parents rescue Oxford and escape back toward Monster Land with him, facing continuing dangers from the pursuing humans and then from creatures and phenomena in the border that separates the lands.
