mile- a- minute, granny square, ripples and florals

This excellent book includes 52 designs in a combination of styles and textures, ranging from beginner to expert. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and an illustrated basic stitch guide is included in the book. Designs include 3d floral motifs, granny squares, mile-a minute and ripples. A couple of patterns for scrap wool and baby afghans are included.

I love to crochet and this book has given me a lot of ideas for more afghans to make. I have already made 2 of them from the book. I liked one so much that I'm going to make it again with just a touch of my own personality.

Beautiful/Simple patterns.

Definitely a pattern for every month, and with minor color changes to suit your personal tastes, you'll find a use for virtually every afghan in this collection. I've made the Dark Eyed Susans for my bedroom (with a plummy border instead of teal as pictured), and my daughter was head over heels for the daisies, so that was first on my list. I've found few errors, and most are probably my own misunderstanding and easily fixable/findable/workable. You'll love the collection, and your resulting set of gorgeous afghans!

A Year of Afghans, Book 3 is a wonderful resource!

What a great collection of afghans! I have really enjoyed flipping through and planning my next year of projects. This book has a nice assortment of quick, double yarn, baby, one-piece, and granny square patterns. It also includes the most attractive ripple pattern I've ever seen. The yarns and colors are nicely varied, and the format marches through the calendar so you can find something for every season. This is one of my favorite afghan books; I know you'll like it, too!
