Gabe gently took the photo from her hand; he ran his left fingers through his hair while he searched his mind for the words to explain what exactly she was looking at. "Remember I told you that in every reality, you always end up somewhere where you end up a nice white lab coat?" he asked with hope. Scanning her face praying that she wouldn't think he was insane. He took a deep breath in as he continued to speak, "Imagine finding yourself in a world that looks familiar, but it's not home."
She interrupted him, filled with desperation. "This is not my world, and no one believes me " Paige softly cried, "I feel like I am alone in a place full of strangers " Her words were earnest with a sound of hopelessness lingering from her lips.
Fearing that she just might remain living in a space that is simply a reflection of everything she has ever known to be reality, searching for a world to call home.
