It was a late summer night in 1962. We were sitting in my car in front of my girlfriend's parent's house when I said; "I would like to spend the rest of my life with you." Her reply was, "Is that a proposal?" I said something profound like, "Well, I guess you could call it that." She responded with, "I will follow you to the ends of the earth."Little did she know how prophetic that answer would be because, as we look back on 52 years of being together, we have traveled to over 35 countries on four continents plus several islands of the sea. We have served the Lord either working on building projects or teaching school.I celebrated my 48th birthday as a Christian the 26th of February 2015. Hopefully, one who has been exposed to that many years as a Christian and lived in many cultures around the planet, one learns a few things.This little endeavor is an attempt to impart some of that wisdom that I have absorbed over these past years. Each short chapter has a lesson that is designed to challenge its reader. You may not agree with my theology, but please respect my attempt to enlarge your thinking and challenge you to kick out the sides of your theological box that your experiences have limited you to.Please don't rush through each chapter, but read slowly, digest and see if there could be an application for your life.
