Dee Brestin's Best Bible Study

This book changed the way I thought about the Bible and God's love for women. Because He made us, God knows what we respond to, and Luke's Gospel is written to appeal to us directly. We're supposed to be moved by the story of Mary journeying to Bethlehem while heavy with child--How many of us have moved house while pregnant or with a newborn? We can relate! I did this study while with a large group of women and now I am leading a different group and doing it again. The format gets you in the word almost every day, and at 12 lessons for $7 this is a bargain not to be missed!

Wonderful! Gave me a new perspective on women in Scripture.

I really enjoyed the style of this study. The daily commitmentt was just enough to have the time to do and get a significant amount out of it. The organization is wonderful, you do a section of the study each day for six days and then you are given a day off. I learned a lot about Mary (Jesus' mother), Martha, and Mary (Martha's sister). I was able to see things from what I believe is their perspective. Most of all I saw how important women were in Jesus' ministry and how He treated them as equals. I highly recommend this study. One other thing, the book is designed for a group Bible study, but I did it on my own and enjoyed it anyway.
