A Women's Fight To Survive is a collection of my blog posts chronicaling when I first got clean in 2019. It follows through the first year and a half of my recovery from opiate addiction and how I am doing now as I hit my five year anniversary. It is about some of the trials and tribulations I went through regarding not only my recovery but my learning how to cope with the mental health issues and traumas from my past. The effects of not feeling like I was enough, and being sexually, physically and verbally abused. It also tells the story of how I started therapy, cut off all contact with my family, and started seeing a psychiatrist. I'd like to use my story to help others speak up about their mental health issues. I want to help them understand that they are not alone and that they can overcome these types of problems. It entails not only the things I went through but also the things my husband and children had to endure along the way. This book is a memoir of a certain part of my life.
