Dr. Hirsch was born in Germany in 1912. She was Jewish and had to leave Germany in 1930s to study medicine in Italy with her husband Dr. Erich Hirsch. After they completed their studies they fled Europe in 1938 at the start of WWII and came to the United States. They settled in Geneva, NY to become one of the first women doctors in Geneva, NY and raised 2 children. This is the story of Dr. Hirsch's life.
