It gives a 28-day account of what for me, at that time, represented the final push to the top of the mental health recovery mountain that I'd been climbing for over three decades. I'm neither a dog trainer nor a mind trainer. I'm a 69-year-old woman who adopted a rescue dog in February 2022 and who has found that my dog, Lydia, has helped me to overcome my fears and anxieties as I've been helping her to overcome hers. Volume II is a 28-day record of our continuing journey. My aim is to make the most of every day, and to help Lydia have the best possible life in my care. I hope that by sharing mine and Lydia's story it will also help others to find their best life too.
