Radical!!

This book is not for the faint of heart; not for those who want the easy way out. It is for the broken hearted, broken in spirit, those who are at the bottom, in the dark and cold, alone and afraid and see no way out. There IS a way out, and Someone to hold your right hand, to help you thru the agonizing pain of separation and/or divorce. Written by a woman who has been there, it is a very gritty procedural digest of how to win your spouse back, even if they are actively pursuing divorce. Her advice, written in very plain form, very straightforward, is hard to swallow. It IS very radical in nature; but so is the death of a marriage. She speaks not the current trend in marital counseling we find in our churches today; but then, why are we even having to deal with these issues so much in our churches today? Think about it. I believe in her teachings, as I believe her foundation is the Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ. Pray and meditate as you read, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. And as your journey begins (or continues), realize that you don't have to walk alone; that your only Source of Hope is waiting to lead you through the Valley. "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a conrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18 KJV) I highly recommend this book. Thank you.

Life Changing!

I came upon this book when I was desperate to save my marriage. What I also found though, was my desperate need for God and the principles from His Word in my life! Erin shows you the principles of being a godly women, wife and mother in her book by quoting scripture after scripture and leading you through the journey of a lifetime. Following these principles with a pure heart will in fact change you life and bring you closer to God than you ever thought possible!

Doing it God's way and not the world's way

As I read this book over and over, I was literally transformed by the renewing of my mind. Many Christian women don't really know how to be the wives that God has intended us to be. We become contentious, controlling, selfish and unsubmissive to our husbands. We don't treat them with the respect and honor that it talks about in the Bible. Many times the husband leaves for another woman, and we are devastated and don't know what to do. So we cry, beg, and plead with them to come back, to no avail. This book teaches us how to win our husband's without a word, to have a gentle and quiet spirit, be kind and show them unconditional love. Reacting the way the world would will not bring our husbands home. Treating them with the love of Jesus will. And that love comes from putting the Lord first in our lives. Only He can change us into the wives He wants us to be!
