I pick the very good version but its pop-up is broken

The story is lovely, love the size of the book and the thick cover. The pop-up was broken and there's the missing of snowflakes in little envelopes on some pages. My child wasn’t happy about that. Luckily I managed to glue the torn pieces. The book should’ve been listed as Good or Acceptable.

Peter's Back

Fabulous graphics and true to the Beatrix Potter style. Very eye catching with great marketing appeal. Only complaint is the story line. It's just a loose adaptation of the old Mr. Tod tale. After waiting this long to start flexing those copy rights, the story should have at least been an original one. The possibilitys were endless and they blew it! Maybe the publishers wanted to keep the shock and awe to a minimum. Still it's a must have for any beatrix potter fan as the old characters and artwork are true to the originals. Beatrix Potter meant Mr Tod, my favorite character, as a villain, he's too wimpy in this tale . Let's hope to see more new tales,with an increase in the originality of the the story lines in the future. I'm thrilled to see this "new material" released!!! This is quality work and is as timeless as the originals.
