A Winter's Ghost Story: A Haunting Through Time

This short story is a result of being dissatisfied with the offerings of ghost stories at Christmas. I've always loved a good creepy story and the ones I've seen recently are very disappointing. I hope you find this more satisfying.

It was a cold frosty morning at Roguesmere bright but with a cold wind coming off the sea. The days were short at this time of year which always seemed to affect people's mood. The author had gone to the coast with his partner for some rest and hopefully some inspiration.
