A favorite

I love this book. This copy was bought as a gift, and the recipient loved it, too. Funny and nostalgic, but more than that, it brings a time and place to life as only the best storytellers can do.

This book is, quite simply, perfect.

Thoughtful, funny, moving, and full of delicious-sounding food, this is the crème de la crème of Bracken's excellent writing. Find it if you can. It's a treasure.
