'Rescued Heroes' is the third book of "A Wiggles and Wags Tale" series. All these books are mostly about dogs, especially ones who have been fortunate enough to be rescued and adopted. All the books of this series are well illustrated throughout. This third book is composed of several stories of how many rescued animals have emotionally and physically changed the lives of those who rescued them .

The book starts off with Wiggles and Wags and their friends at the park who all have stories to share about their experiences or that of others they can relay about rescues, adoptions and helping people. It's a fun read and very heart-felt and endearing on many pages. Readers who own pets may well relate to some of the pets and/or their stories.

'Rescued Heroes' later goes on to illustrate many of the service animals that are trained in many specialized capacities to help people in everyday life and in need of their special services to save lives. Whether they are trained or not, the pets in this book are all heroes.
