Ambrosia was supposed to be a nice safe place to unwind. 'Supposed to be' being the part folks got hung up on. The place is overrun by a cartel, and sadly that isn't the only issue with it. The police and Vigilante constantly wage a back and forth for control over the streets. Be it by the exoskeleton-clad 'Neon Angels' with their bright colors and heavy strikes, or the UVC, the faction who only ever hits at night, and you only know they were there because they were kind enough to leave a calling card. Then there's Vince, he just wanted some cold pizza. A vendetta takes his girl, Jess, from him and he gets blackmailed into infiltrating said cartel in Ambrosia. Make sense? Probably not. So he gets there and it goes all according to plan, only joking, everything falls apart. Everything being the whole gosh darn country, and Ambrosia, being a sovereign city state, gets invaded by a mercenary cult known as the Overseer Corporation, a bunch of loons in maroon who think they can tame the ultimate city of sin. Throw in such colorful characters as a gas masked metal angel who is obsessed with protecting Vince, a former marine cop grappling with his own ideas of order, a flamboyant man in a suit, and a meek redhead who Vince is really trying his hardest to not be attracted to. Jess is out there, he can feel it, otherwise he wouldn't be putting himself in all this danger.
