Georgia Russell and Max Butler run an event management business. They are asked by a close friend if they will oversee the nuptials of a well-known rapper and his bride, the daughter of an up-and-coming diplomat. Recognising an opportunity to cash in on such a lavish and costly occasion, they agree to take the commission on. It soon becomes apparent that the bride will go to any expense to have an extravagant but eco-friendly wedding and they are required to devise various innovations to satisfy her directions. When their wedding day arrives, the ceremony proceeds flawlessly but tragedy strikes within the hour, leaving Georgia and Max to pick up the pieces. Unbeknown to all, sinister forces are at play to ensure Britain's leading position in the international arms race and ensure its economic prosperity for years to come.
