"ordinary" heroes

When I first read this book several years ago, I was in awe at the heroic selflessness showcased by these true life stories of "ordinary" heroes. In a day of blurred morals and selfish ethics, everyone could benefit by the courage and love for their fellow man shown by these individuals. As the former hit song said, we need a hero. These examples show that the hero can be any one of us, and hopefully, will be. And to always strive to do the right thing at any cost.

An excellent book on heroic people.

This book is broken up into several stories. These are true stories of people who have put there life on the line, in many cases, or given their life to save someone else. An excellent selection for someone who enjoys non fiction.
