Excellent Story

Well written shows the fundamental problem with confronting abuse. Daniel has returned home to confront his father about the beatings and sexual molestion. He finds that he is once again a boy, being beaten by his father and a mother who is emotionally vacant. Even now, she is still defending the man who stole her son's childhood. There is no respite for Daniel as he tries to lay the past to rest.
