Marlene Christmas was a young, hard working single woman who only made time for herself once a year. If she wasn't working, which she seemed to always be doing, even bringing work home, she was spending time with her family and friends. Her family and friends wished she could find that one true love that she could spend the rest of her life with. But Marlene had given up on love and romance after her last relationship three years ago. Since then, for the Christmas holiday she would take vacation and go to places she had always wanted to go but never got the chance. Marlene just wanted to go some where and relax and not think about work or the pressure her family and friends placed on her to find someone to share life with. She deserved this time to herself and she was going to enjoy it. She was in no hurry to get involved with anyone and it was not on her wish list. Was she destined to be single the rest of her life.
