Sometimes in life the actions of others, force us to make decisions that will alter our own destiny. I had no idea as a young mother, that the most important decision I had made, would change my life completely. With my two young children and a few pounds in my pocket, I boarded a plane to South Africa, to start a new life and escape from my unhappy marriage. Leaving behind an unfaithful husband, I embarked upon the challenges of single parenthood and life in a strange new country. The decisions and choices I made during the years to follow, were not always the correct ones. But no matter how bad life seems at times, inner strength and faith can overcome most things.
