What's more fun than the zoo?

Beginning readers who love wild animals will fall in love with A Trip to the Zoo by Karen Wallace. Two brothers are taken by Mom to the zoo to see up close all the animals they had seen in books and movies. They get to see and even touch some of the animals, and their wish to take one home with them is somewhat satisfied by "sponsoring" an animal at the zoo. At home, they thank Mom by painting pictures of all that they saw, so that they could all have their very own zoo! A "Picture word list" provides a valuable review. Recommended!
