A TOWN CALLED THANKFUL: A Malo Deacon Western

The peaceful western town of Thankful has been taken over by the Shalano Brady gang. For almost two years, Brady's held the town in a vise like grip. Whenever a new marshal is sent to investigate, he is met by Brady's "welcome committee"; three top gun hands to put the lawman six feet under. And Brady has set his eyes on the lovely widow Grace Scott, who wants nothing to do with the mad dog killer. Enter black U.S. Marshal Malo Deacon, the one they call "bounty hunter with a badge". Will he be enough to change the way of the town, or die when he arrives like the previous marshals. This is the old west at its best, violent, rich with men and women of character. When life was changed by the turn of a card, or the bark of a six-gun.G. H. Lloyd has held various jobs, including Military Policeman, Correctional Officer, and Postal Worker. He grew up in the Western rich program days of television; watching Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, Maverick, Bonanza, The Wild Wild West, and Zane Grey Theatre urged him to one day write his own Western. Plus, John Wayne westerns, and the Sergio Leone films with Clint Eastwood added to the desire. His favorite Western author is Louis Lamour; but he's also admired Jonas Ward (Buchanan Series), Max Brand, Zane Grey, Elmore Leonard, George G. Gilman (Edge Series), Robert E. Howard (The Vultures of Whapeton), and John Benteen (Fargo Series).
