Tau Omicron Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has been an organized body in Dublin, Georgia for 25 years. This year we celebrate our Silver Anniversary. One of the highlights to become a tradition in our community is our annual, A Taste of Dublin, Inc. always held on the first Saturday in May. This is the sixteenth year for the popular tasting event. As part of our Silver Anniversary celebration we are happy to introduce and highlight the men in our families and community who have come forth over the past years, and presently, to make this event the success it always is by preparing and/or serving and sharing signature and heirloom dishes. This cookbook is conceived and published to coincide with the 2018 presentation of A Taste of Dublin, Inc. It is both a tribute to the men who have and are serving as chefs for the event, and it is a social history told through the sharing of the recipes which are being featured in this, our first edition of the Cookbook. It is also an affirmation and appreciation aimed at the other cooks in our community who have also helped build a well-rounded menu each year of the Taste of Dublin event. It is our honor and our pleasure to say thank you also to our guests who have returned year after year to support and enjoy this singular eventThis publication offers many instances of inclusion as we celebrate the many persons who have contributed to it. It is with reverence that we present this 25th Anniversary Edition of A Taste of Dublin Cookbook, which is but a chapter in The Timeless History of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Tau Omicron Omega Chapter. Oh! But what an important chapter it is!
