A Charming depiction of Victorian life!

I have just started to read, "Priscilla's Promise," but find it to be a very charming depiction of life as it was in those days. I think it is a valuable story for any young girl to read, about coming of age in a sense. Priscilla is confronted with many choices, the trick is to pick the right one! Which she does in a delightful and entertaining way.
