A summer outside Looking inside

This little book contains a collection of pictures I took in my garden during 2018. I used the pictures as inspiration for my short poems and haiku's as part of a project wherein I post a picture with an accompanying poem each day under my pseudonym Nochrisis. The pictures you will find in this book are mainly colorful closeups of nature found in my garden. Small flowers, plants and insect you normally wouldn't notice if you don't pay attentions to all that grows only a few meters from where you walk every day. You don't have to travel for hours to discover how beautiful nature can be.The poems are often a description of the accompanying picture with an underlaying meaning with themes like growth, anguish, meaning, wondering etc.I am not a professional photographer or poet, both creations come from the heart without prior knowledge. English is also not my main language, I am raised in the Netherlands but live in Norway since 2006 where I restore wooden boats for a local museum.
