A study on the career development of managerial women in the corporate sector

More than 40% of the world's workers are women, and they make up half of the world's population. Women make up half of the world's population and do two-thirds of the world's work, but they only get one-tenth of the world's income and less than one-hundredth of its property, according to a United Nations report called "Women Challenges of the Year 2000." 2 But there is no doubt that over the past few decades, a lot has been done to make sure that men and women have the same rights and opportunities in the workplace. Access to education and training for women has gotten a lot better over the years, giving them the skills they need to work at the highest levels of management. Governments, businesses, and organizations have put a lot of thought and work into creating policies and programs to help women advance in their careers and get rid of the discrimination that comes from attitudes and institutions.
