The study on sleeping patterns of youngsters is mainly focusing on the sleeping habits based on the lifestyle of the youngsters between the age of 17- 21 years. When lifestyle changes, the sleep is one factor which get affected. This research study focuses on the complex world of sleeping patterns in youngsters, illuminating the many variables affecting their sleep patterns. Understanding young people's sleep patterns is crucial for supporting their general wellbeing at a time of rapid technological breakthroughs, changing lifestyles. The study also investigates the effects of sleep deprivation on general quality of life, academic performance, and physical and mental health. The research study emphasis a quantitative approach by using questionnaire as a tool to know more about the sleep patterns in the colleges of Kottayam district.
