Decent Sequel

I liked it and it wasn’t bad as a second book. Still not 100% sure on this authors writing style

Stereotypes, Secrets, Eugh!

This series overall is cringey and problematic but this book in particular is built around the worst parts of their relationship, the withholding secrets and deception and whatnot. Also, this is the book that delves somewhat deeper into Temper, Callie's best friend, and if the racist stereotypes weren't obvious enough in the first novel, they're prevalent here! Yikes! It's hard to root for the main cast when they're written like this..
