What does it mean to be a Pastor?

Written by a woman, generally for women in ministry, this book talks about the fact that we are called, not to a life of leadership, but to a life of service. The stole that is bestowed upon pastors at their ordination is not a stole to make them more powerful, but rather a call to be a servant to all. Every time I put on my stole, I am reminded again that my job is service. It is a humbling thought and a humbling moment.
