Early Christian Life and Persecutions

This is an amazing novel on the life of 1st century Christianity, and the struggles and persecutions that life as a Christian meant. There is also a lot of interesting material about Rome and Greece and the lives led by the people in that part of the world in the first century. Since 1980 when I first discovered it I have probably read the book three or four times even though the copy I have has several typos in it and I have recommended it to many others. It is well worth reading.
