Completely disappointed

I jumped on the hype train for this book because it's one of those staples of the monster romance genre. I was a little put off by the writing, but I continued because I really wanted to read my monster smut and see how their romance develops. The MC is rather unlikable from the start, and she continues to just get worse and more toxic toward this monster man. Looking into the reviews of future books, it appears that most of the author's pairings are like this. Mary-Sue type MCs that have little character growth, with their actions toxic and childish. :( I was disappointed, because I really, truly wanted to enjoy this.

Better Thant expected!

I could not put this book down. The author did an amazing job building up the plot and advancing the story. There were moments that made me smile because of how cute the characters would interact with each other, and then I’d be fanning myself with the amount of spice that was going on. Overall I highly recommend, and I’m So very excited to read the second book!
