fabulous laughing out loud book

I read this book and yes, I admit that the book had quite a few typographical errors...but I thought that it was wonderful. I was so surprised to find that she (Holly Fuhrmann) was a first time author. I have recently discovered that she has a second book coming out in August from the Precious Gems publisher that can be found in WalMart. I highly recommed this book because of the wonderful dialouge and the humorous antics of the heroine.

SNOWBALL'S CHANCE is the BEST!

Holly Fuhrmann is an author to watch as she rises up the ladder of romantic fiction. Her story and characters are laugh-out-loud funny. SNOWBALL'S CHANCE is a keeper in the first degree. Found out she has a Precious Gems coming out in August 1998. Can't wait for another chance to read my new favorite author, Holly Fuhrmann! Recommended by: Bonnie Tucker

Poddy is as wild as her name!

Poddy was named after a character in her mother's favorite science fiction books. However, the name fits her well. Poddy's brother pushed her out of her secluded shell and into life. Her "content" days as a school teacher were over. Enter the three Murdoch brothers. Poddy went to Sam's office to make him see that his daughter was growing up without him. I loved watching Poddy stand up to Sam. Poddy forces him to see his life as it really was and he ends up spending much more time with things that are important...like his daughter. Sam and Poddy come to love each other like family, but they were not "in" love. Best friends would have to do. Scott is Sam's twin brother. A man who does not believe in romance or love. His wife left him for his last brother, Luke. She had driven a wedge between brothers even though she left the both, so as not to break up the love of brothers. Poddy, in her own wild way, make Scott and Luke see that love and "happily ever after endings" really do exist. ***I fell in love with Poddy. She still has Sam and her own brother, PD, to match up. (Oh, let there be another book for them!) In my opinion, the book had too many typographical errors, but this story is too good to miss!***

Holly Fuhrmann is an author I'll be watching for - I have a feeling she'll go far.

A Snowball's Chance is a delightful, funny read.

With a heroine named Poddy Harper you know that you are going to have lots of laughs reading about her adventures. And that is just what A Snowball's Chance delivers and much more as we follow Poddy and Scott Murdoch's love. Poddy is a school teacher and has no idea that when she confronts one of her student's father, Sam Murdoch, she will find a best friend and the love of her life. She and Sam become friends, they both hope to become closer, but realize that they are only meant to be friends. Months later while she is staying late to babysit his daughter, she meets Scott Murdoch, his twin brother and the man she will love. I got lots of strange stares, and angry ones at that, when I was reading A Snowball's Chance. You see, I was disturbing people studying with my laughter. I normally don't LAUGH OUT LOUD while reading a book but this book WAS so funny and delightful that I couldn't help myself. This book is filled with humor, family, and a wonderful love story.
