A Sleepwalker's Nightmare

A fictional account of a sleepwalker that discovers his sleepwalking habits coincide with a string of murders happening in his small town. The sleepwalker, John Dell, tries to come to grips with the fact that he might be a killer while trying to live a normal life.
Thursday night at 11 PM, just off of Highway 18 at the site of a homeless camp, there was a horrific flash of flame and a 'Whoomph' sound as the flames jumped to life and sucked oxygen from the air. The flames traveled from the roadway, out into the darkness of the camp illuminating the fog with a bright orange and yellow glow. After the initial whoosh of the flames coming to life there was only the fading sound of an engine speeding away, then the crackling of the bushes as they caught fire and burned...
