Growing up in an apostolic church your told the right ways and the wrong ways of being a Christian. You are only allowed to dress a certain way, speak a certain way, and live a life free from sin. But as a sinner you live free as a bird. Armoni at a young age had to learn the hard way. With parents as pastors of the church; everything she did was critiqued. Sorting through her life trying to please her loved ones and friends, Armoni has decide which life she wants to live. Singing in the church choir trying to follow in her sisters footsteps; to only be told she wasn't good enough. When Armoni gets a taste of the worldly life, she begins to rethink the whole Christian life; backsliding as they would call it. Armoni falls in love with the real world, but her family made it hard for her to be happy. Church became a nightmare when she had to choose between God and her worldly ways. Trying to please her friends and family; Armoni not only lost sight in herself but in her calling. When her gospel career is put on the line; Armoni has to choose between the two worlds. Will she please those near and dear to her, or follow her own dreams? Making the best choice for herself.
