This book is a documentation on miniature and use of traditional arts in contemporary art. The starting point is to achieve a study on different ways of representation by considering the two basic features of miniature art, viz. reverse perspective and open composition. They might be a hint to capture another way of representation, which can imply a different way of seeing. After a theoretical survey on miniature, the finding is presence of a different way of seeing. Use of miniature in contemporary art creates problems because of its seeing regime. However, while there is the possibility of miniatures not being understood in today s seeing regime, the failure on comprehension and seeing provides hybrid possibilities on artistic area.
