U.S. Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) data are stored in the Forest Inventory and Analysis Database (FIADB). FIADB-Lite was developed to simplify the generation of forest statistics. An FIADB-Lite database can be used to generate estimates of forest land area and tree biomass, volume, growth, removals, and mortality.
