Hundred of years from now, after the surface of the Earth freezes due to geo-engineering gone wrong, two spaceships leave the planet. The "Long" hosts the rich and powerful, who surround themselves with the best intellectuals and craftspeople. The other ship, the "Yoda", is an upgraded spacefreighter with a crew of outcasts, children, and survival artists. It is not certain that it will survive the launch, or that it'll ever be able to reach Mars, where leftover supplies may allow the ship and its crew to go further into space.
Can an artificial intelligence change the fate of the Earth by sending a time machine to the past? Will the plan work, when it all depends on two teenagers?
