The Eldridges are a young married couple, trying to come to grips with the fact that their plans for a family don't seem to be working out; while the Johnson family tries to find something to celebrate in the aftermath of losing their husband/father in Afghanistan. As Bill Eldridge, and young Tommy Johnson, come face to face one Halloween night, neither can know the profound impact that they'll have on one another's families.
