A Season of Change follows Mateo and Ben Diaz as their world is upended by political shifts and personal trials. When a new mayor's discriminatory policies target LGBTQIA+ first responders, Mateo is pushed to leave his longtime department and start over as a Captain at Davis County Fire & Rescue. Ben, already serving as an EMS Captain, continues his leadership under a newly merged countywide fire/EMS system-yet finds his role evolving just as fast as the city around them.

While juggling high-stakes emergencies, the challenges of fatherhood, and a deeper calling to protect both their crews and their home, Mateo and Ben face one of their most personal battles yet: Ben's unexplained medical episodes, which threaten to unravel everything they've worked for.
