In the perfect setting in the Garden of Eden, God made a covenant of life with Adam and warned him not to eat fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so that he would not die. (Gen 2:16-17) Nevertheless, Adam followed the woman and ate fruit from that forbidden tree and died as God had forewarned (Gen 3:1-7). As a result, Adam sinned and fell short of the glory of God. Adam's sin came to man after him (Roman 5:12). And all therefore fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) After the fall of man, God promised the Serpent that the Seed of Woman, Christ Jesus, who is God manifest in the flesh; (1 Timothy 3:16) would crash his head. The Serpent would only be allowed to bruise Jesus' heal, crucify him. When the time was fulfilled, our All knowing, Omnipotent, Unchanging, All-wise and Almighty God, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to come and crash the head of the Serpent and redeem, perfect and sanctify (1 Corinthians 1:13) all who would believe in God, and restore unto them the required condition to enable them go boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 10:19-20).
