I went into the lobby of my condos and knocked on my neighbor Charles room, he was a much older gentlemen that I liked to think of as my grandpa. I said to him as he opened the door, "hi Charles, I hope I didn't wake you." He said, "nonsense my dear, I was up just watching the television. Is everything alright?"I said, "I have a favor to ask you and I know that its super last minute" he said, "well ask me my dear." "Can you watch sparky for me for the next couple of days, I'm leaving out of town tomorrow morning.""A business trip Lily? That's wonderful." I had just told Charles that I was being promoted and now he was thinking that I was being sent away on a business trip. I said to him, "well it's not so much of a business trip more like a retreat for myself." "You need not say more Lily I'll take little old sparky with me; I could use a friend at night to stay up and watch the television with me.""Thank you so much Charles, you're the best." I gave him a giant hug and told him that I would be dropping him off early in the morning, he then offered to give me a ride to the airport as well, which was so sweet of him. We said goodnight, and I went back to my place and continued to pack my bags. It was about 3 am when I had finally finished packing all of my belongings that I was going to be taking on my trip. My flight was scheduled to leave at 8am but I had to be at the airport at 6am. I was in and out of sleep that night just trying to picture myself surfing and finally enjoying myself for once. All I Needed Was A Day............
