This little book was conceived out of a personal ache in my heart, both for myself and other young men I observe just getting started with their personal responsibilities in life. I had no life map as a young person and very few guides in terms of how to grow up as a man. There were a few choice men who reached out to me at various life stages, making a significant impact upon my overall trajectory. It's unlikely I would have ever written a booklet like this without their personal involvement and investment of time. Men like this are scarce. My hope is many more mature men will step up to serve a sprouting generation, coming up behind us.
