A River's Journal

ABOUT A river born in a glacier exclaims with joy "untie me from the burden of your dreams for I am a bird and the sky is my beloved. And there would I ever go, as streams to lower lands flow". As it crashes on to the valleys, It questions- "how do I conceal my deepest fear when even my breathe draws it near. Like Iron when I rust and decay, What, to this body must I say?". It then arrives at the plains where it learns of acceptance "what had been could be better, But these shackles I must now shatter". Finally it merges with the sea- "where he discovers a deep shore less ocean -vast as space itself; yet, to his very self, linked, in essence. His features fade, his flesh loses significance....".
