Families have their disagreements. Neighbors have their disputes. A River Story and Impossible Betty are the tales of the troubles between souls (disguised in the first instance as an uncle and his nephew) that have no endings.
Though some disputes are mendable, other issues persist. It is up to the author and the reader to understand why.
As a poet, I invite the reader to explore imprinting and its broader implications. From the benign to the malignant and from dysphoria to the deep scars of war, a simple quirk of nature is the key that unlocks the psyche and frees the soul.
