In the high-altitude forests of the Eastern Himalayas, Robbie is born as the third male child to the rhino couple, Karma and Norbu. But unlike his siblings and other rhino calves, Robbie grows up into an adolescent without the symbolic horn of his species. He confronts his masculine insecurities by protecting a wounded hog deer from heavy monsoons, dangerous predators, and the shock of losing a loved one. While his newfound friend gathers the strength to walk again, Robbie gains a new perspective on self-compassion, friendship, and courage.
