A novel about the political emancipation of Mihai Koper, a Jewish Romanian tennis prodigy, his meteoric international rise during Nicolae Ceausescu's reign, and his family's life in the orbit of Ceausescu clan - the story is also a timely portent of things to come for the Western World. Mihai, through his frequent travels with his tennis to the Western countries, realizes how different life is in the West compared to communist Romania, and sets out to write about that. After fleeing Ceausescu's regime, he publishes to wide appeal in the West his political writings on the dimming lights of Western Europe and on Barak Obama's and Donald Trump's respective Presidencies.The novel spans the years 1976 - 2020, two continents - Europe and North America - and three political systems - Ceausescu's Communist Romania, France, and United States.
