Sarcomatoid carcinoma is a rare tumor of the lung, which includes all carcinomas with cells of sarcomatous appearance. The histological diagnosis is difficult with particular morphological and molecular characteristics. There is currently no standard treatment for advanced forms. Its aggressive character and its highly metastatic potential make the prognosis grim.
