Romantic and Heartfelt suspense

Emma and Hart's first introduction in the home of her uncle created a great backdrop for this outstanding novel. It was written very well drawing the reader into the very essence of the life Emma chose in order to escape the life she felt she was destined to. The role Hart plays culminates in being her protector even to the end.

Would love to read part 2 of Hart & Emma's story!

Wow, I loved this book. To Tempt a Scotsman was good, but this one is by far my favorite. I enjoy escaping into books and while romance hasn't always been my favorite, Victoria hooked me with this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the power struggle between Hart and Emma and couldn't have imagined better love scenes between them (very erotic!). Perhaps it's my own hidden wickedness to which Victoria appeals in this very very naughty book.

Love, Love, Love this book!!

I absolutely love this book. Victoria Dahl is a wonderful author and she has become one of my must buy authors!! She brings the story alive and makes you feel like you are actually a part of it.

One of my favorite reads this summer

This book was fantastic--strong plot, excellent characters, and all-around great writing. The other reviewers have covered the plot detail, so I won't repeat that information. I can tell you that I read TON of books (3-5 per week) in many genres, and I am always on the lookout for writers with "great voice". Victoria Dahl is a winner and I can't wait to read the rest of her books!

I Loved it !!!

I loved this book - great story, strong bullheaded charcters, lots of twists and best of all a great story. Emma moves to London to escape something and she has a plan to make some money so she can leave her old life behind. She is doing well with gambling and all her plans until The Duke of Somerhart walks back into her life.... I loved this how she treated him like a normal man .... I would also suggest;A Rake's Guide To Pleasure (Zebra Historical Romance), looking forward to Talk Me Down.
