From being diagnosed with arthrogryposis to being an amputee, I wanted to write about my journey to encourage you to press through your tribulations. The disabled community is one of the groups I feel is in desperate need to hear how to overcome life's obstacles and letting them know that feeling isolated is the norm, but they don't have to stay in that mindset. Generally, everyone has a story to tell, some similar and others totally divergent, but not everyone's testimony is received seriously. It's more than o.k. to be vulnerable so people know where you're coming from, but at the same time being supportive with one another and not tearing each other down While writing each chapter, I pray it'll lead you into dismissing negative thoughts, applauding yourself for making it through each day through determination, and ultimately understanding that if it wasn't for God, you and I wouldn't be alive here today
